Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ulrik Isaksson made the kick off which started today's match. If Tor Markusson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute, Mats Ström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the game, Grytöl's Helge Brun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jens-Ola Mellberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Sonstorps Fotboll's zone, Helge Brun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jens-Ola Mellberg came out of the goal and Helge Brun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Helge Brun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jens-Ola Mellberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Sonstorps Fotboll's Jens-Ola Mellberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Helge Brun in the 34th minute of play. After 37 played minutes Grytöl got a freekick which was hit by Helge Brun. With a little luck, Grytöl's Karl-Erik Västlund got control of the ball when Olof Arvidsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ture Tunström kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. When Tor Markusson came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Grytöl fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tor Markusson couldn't finish the play.

The wind increased when Tor Markusson made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olof Arvidsson in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karl-Erik Västlund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Karl-Erik Västlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olof Arvidsson in the 61st minute of play. Karl-Erik Västlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulrik Isaksson in the 62nd minute of the match. Jens-Ola Mellberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 82 minutes into the game, Ture Tunström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grytöl's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sonstorps Fotboll the free kick. Ture Tunström hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Tor Markusson came free with the goalkeeper in the 86th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jens-Ola Mellberg could save by the left post. The audience was convinced that Helge Brun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jens-Ola Mellberg was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. 89 minutes into the match, Olof Arvidsson notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Grytöl's Karl-Erik Västlund. Karl-Erik Västlund was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tor Markusson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Grytöl had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
