Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Kåre Sjögren started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Ian Alegren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Evert Billvall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kåre Sjögren in the 8th minute of the match. In the 8th match minute, IFK Stockholm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petter Bruse to maneuver through the defense. Evert Billvall stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kåre Sjögren's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Olov Stephansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Olof Willig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ian Alegren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olov Stephansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kim Trulsson in the 17th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Kåre Sjögren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rätan IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Kåre Sjögren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evert Billvall breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to IFK Stockholm getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Petter Bruse hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Walroth in the 24th minute of play forced IFK Stockholm's goalkeeper Evert Billvall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olov Stephansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kim Trulsson in the 27th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Kåre Sjögren notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of IFK Stockholm's Evert Billvall. Evert Billvall was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 44 minutes into the match, IFK Stockholm's goalkeeper Evert Billvall had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kristoffer Snäll. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kim Trulsson made a kick off. Evert Billvall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kåre Sjögren, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 55 minutes into the match, IFK Stockholm's goal looked a bit too open when Kristoffer Snäll came free, but Evert Billvall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sven-Olof Willig kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Evert Billvall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ian Alegren in the 57th minute of the match. Evert Billvall came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Rätan IF's Martin Walroth. But to his dismay, Martin Walroth quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Rätan IF's Olov Stephansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petter Bruse in the 67th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Walroth in the 68th minute of play forced IFK Stockholm's goalkeeper Evert Billvall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evert Billvall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kåre Sjögren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Kåre Sjögren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Evert Billvall was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Axel Jonasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of IFK Stockholm booed when Rätan IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathias Pilberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olov Stephansson made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Kim Trulsson sent off a good shot on target. Ingvar Henriksson scored 2-2 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olov Stephansson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
