The supporters of Frölundaboys booed when Änglarna FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leif Rudqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. After taking down the ball on Änglarna FF's corner Esbjörn Ahlbeck fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Staffan Björklund quite easily take care of the ball. In the 54th minute of the match, Esbjörn Ahlbeck tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Staffan Björklund saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Frölundaboys's Robert Martinsson got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Esbjörn Ahlbeck showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Bertil Näfver came free with the goalkeeper in the 79th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Staffan Björklund could save by the left post. Jens-Ola Askstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Staffan Björklund having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 82 minutes, Staffan Björklund successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Bertil Lange kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Bertil Näfver could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Staffan Björklund made a huge save. Edgar Lindblom didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robert Martinsson went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. When Timmy Pilgren came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Frölundaboys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timmy Pilgren couldn't finish the play. 97 minutes into the game, Jens-Ola Askstedt recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Staffan Björklund.
