The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustav Flink got free with Johannes Lundgren in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 7 minutes in the game, Gustav Flink fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Johannes Lundgren having to interfere. A collision led to Surahammar getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Gustav Flink hit a great ball. In the 11th match minute, Surahammar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rudolf Larsson to maneuver through the defense. If Tony Back had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes into the match, Göran Aspengren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Per-Oskar Tinglöv. Surahammar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Göran Aspengren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 21 minutes of play, Surahammar's Gustav Flink made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Johannes Lundgren was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 25th minute, Göran Aspengren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tall Oaks fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 29th minute of the match, Gustav Flink tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Johannes Lundgren saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Johannes Lundgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustav Flink, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rudolf Larsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute Birger Karlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Oskar Tinglöv saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anton Fredriksson made a kick off. After 50 played minutes Surahammar got a freekick which was hit by Rudolf Larsson. The supporters of Tall Oaks booed when Surahammar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wiktor Strömqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Per-Oskar Tinglöv showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Fredriksson in the 54th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, Tall Oaks's goal looked a bit too open when Tony Back came free, but Johannes Lundgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, Osvald Österlund had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Johannes Lundgren.
