After 4 played minutes Swindon Sweden FF got a freekick which was hit by Lennart Linquist. In the 5th minute of the match Karl Zachrisson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tomas Liljeström showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sverker Tönnberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sverker Lind in the 7th minute of the match. Sverker Lind fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sverker Tönnberg having to interfere. Sverker Tönnberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lennart Linquist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the game, Jon Trulsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Sverker Tönnberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Swindon Sweden FF's Tomas Liljeström got control of the ball when Hjalmar Nyman tried to sneak it across the goal line. André Berg's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tomas Liljeström firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of Swindon Sweden FF booed when Åhus Absolut F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sten Skott didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sverker Tönnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sverker Lind in the 27th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Swindon Sweden FF's Örjan Nyström got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute, Abbe Alvin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tomas Liljeström. The goal made the score 1-1. After 40 minutes, Daniel Klint mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Åhus Absolut F.C and the Swindon Sweden FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Pär Vall got free with Sverker Tönnberg in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Klint kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. The supporters of Åhus Absolut F.C booed when Swindon Sweden FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pär Vall didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lennart Linquist kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Pär Vall dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sverker Tönnberg, 1-2. Sverker Tönnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sverker Lind in the 84th minute of play. In the 86thth minute of the game Hjalmar Nyman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Swindon Sweden FF's Tomas Liljeström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 88th minute, Swindon Sweden FF's Pär Vall ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sverker Tönnberg. Sverker Tönnberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Tomas Liljeström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abbe Alvin, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Swindon Sweden FF walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
