The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Guldhedstornet BK. 15 minutes into the game, Samuel Dahlberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Eric Ekman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpected shot in the 21st minute by Björn Björnsson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Alf Malm blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Olof Bergren having to make a save. In the 23rd minute, Arvid Britz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olof Bergren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Lövgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alf Malm in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olof Bergren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Samuel Dahlberg hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 36 minutes into the game, Guldhedstornet BK's Tobias Lövgren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olof Bergren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Samuel Dahlberg kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After 45 played minutes Guldhedstornet BK got a freekick which was hit by Mathias Ekeroth. With a little luck, Guldhedstornet BK's Eric Ekman got control of the ball when Jens-Erik Vallengren tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jens-Erik Vallengren to strike the kick off in the second half. Eric Ekman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Björn Björnsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Guldhedstornet BK's goal looked a bit too open when Björn Björnsson came free, but Eric Ekman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blåränderna's Olof Bergren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Blåränderna from getting a goal against them. Blåränderna's Samuel Dahlberg couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 77th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Guldhedstornet BK. Eric Ekman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Erik Vallengren in the 79th minute of the match. Daniel Haglund hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josef Petersson in the 89th minute of play forced Blåränderna's goalkeeper Olof Bergren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
