The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pär Fastesson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Thorsberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Christian Bammerman charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 35thth minute of the game Pelle Holm who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Smycketorgets FF's Pär Fastesson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 36 minutes into the game, Christian Thorsberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Pär Fastesson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pär Fastesson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Thorsberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the match, Smycketorgets FF's goal looked a bit too open when Pelle Holm came free, but Pär Fastesson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Krister Asklund fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Smycketorgets FF's protests and gave Krister Asklund a yellow card for diving instead. After some careless play in the Smycketorgets FF defense, Sebastian Axelsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pär Fastesson. The Smycketorgets FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pär Fastesson should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Smycketorgets FF's Pär Fastesson got control of the ball when Christian Thorsberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pär Fastesson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pelle Holm in the 85th minute of the match. Bengt-Åke Dahlberg kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Golden Lions FC played a much better game than Smycketorgets FF and deserved their victory. The Smycketorgets FF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
