Oskars Glada Gäng's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elof Mager was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Oskars Glada Gäng's Jens Engström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elof Mager in the 9th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Team Rocco's Jan-Olof Hedling sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jens Engström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 15th match minute, Oskars Glada Gäng was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Axel Bållström to maneuver through the defense. Jens Engström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan-Olof Hedling's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. The Team Rocco fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Team Rocco's Jan-Olof Hedling looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Oskars Glada Gäng's Pelle Forsberg got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 25th minute, Gösta Hamnberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jens Engström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Olof Hedling in the 34th minute of the match. In the 38th minute Elof Mager shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens Engström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gösta Hamnberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jens Engström. Oskars Glada Gäng's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Per Finman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Anders Bergman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jakob Grelsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Oskars Glada Gäng booed when Team Rocco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Överman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 52 minutes into the game, Jakob Grelsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Anders Bergman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 55th minute, Per Finman made a precise shot to the right of Anders Bergman. Team Rocco's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Jan-Olof Hedling might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jens Engström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jan-Olof Hedling ran back to his position shaking his head. 60 minutes in the game, Elof Mager fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jens Engström having to interfere. A hard shot 61 in the game by Jan-Olof Hedling from a close distance when the talented Jens Engström managed to make a qualified save. Oskars Glada Gäng's players were relieved. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan-Olof Hedling got free with Jens Engström in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jens Engström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakob Grelsson in the 88th minute of play forced Team Rocco's goalkeeper Anders Bergman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anders Bergman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Axel Bållström in the 90th minute of play. Jens Engström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elof Mager in the 96th minute of play. The Team Rocco supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Team Rocco would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
