The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Vintilă Neața threw the ball into play from the sideline. Ferestrele AS's Gigi Spineanu quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Emilian Lovinescu hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 8th minute, Paul Racoviță left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ferestrele AS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, Francisc Horațiu notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Ferestrele AS's Cazimir Bănățeanu. Cazimir Bănățeanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Ferestrele AS's Cazimir Bănățeanu got control of the ball when Kylian Mbappè tried to sneak it across the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Ferestrele AS's goalkeeper Cazimir Bănățeanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kylian Mbappè. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Ferestrele AS getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Calistrat Chihaia hit a great ball. Petru Paulică charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Petru Paulică the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 80th minute, Petru Paulică hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kylian Mbappè could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Cazimir Bănățeanu made a huge save. 84 minutes into the game, Manchester City's Marcu Giugiuc nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cazimir Bănățeanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. Ferestrele AS's Cazimir Bănățeanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kylian Mbappè in the 90th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Kylian Mbappè had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cazimir Bănățeanu. Ferestrele AS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kylian Mbappè was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-7. Cazimir Bănățeanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kylian Mbappè went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-8 was the resulting score. Manchester City played a much better game than Ferestrele AS and deserved their victory. The Ferestrele AS players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
