Grigore Ozon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remus Alucusan, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 6thth minute of the game Iosif Macamete who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GoalHunters's Stelian Ciorbea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, GoalHunters's Stelian Ciorbea got control of the ball when Iosif Macamete tried to sneak it across the goal line. 10 minutes into the game, Remus Alucusan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Grigore Ozon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Navigatii Bacău's Grigore Ozon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeo Nicoliță in the 14th minute of play. Stelian Ciorbea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Remus Răduțu in the 16th minute. Adrian Chesaru charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adrian Chesaru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of GoalHunters booed when Navigatii Bacău was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Chesaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Navigatii Bacău's goal looked a bit too open when Remus Alucusan came free, but Grigore Ozon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nae Chiuzbaian kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iosif Macamete in the 28th minute of play forced GoalHunters's goalkeeper Stelian Ciorbea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 31 minutes of play, Navigatii Bacău's Cristian Balaban made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stelian Ciorbea was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Aurel Ponor. Grigore Ozon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Narcis Deleanu went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Nicu Aluculesei's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Grigore Ozon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
The wind increased when Remus Alucusan made the kick off in the second half. Iosif Macamete sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nae Chiuzbaian during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Navigatii Bacău's Nae Chiuzbaian got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 57 minutes into the game, Navigatii Bacău's Remus Răduțu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stelian Ciorbea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. The GoalHunters players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Navigatii Bacău from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
