Spectators: 156 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Octav Zglimbea took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Dragoş Maruță notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Secueni's Adrian Vătăşel. Adrian Vătăşel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Secueni's Petrică Stere got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, FC Alinborger's Edgar Șora got control of the ball when Iacob Anghelescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Iacob Anghelescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Edgar Șora made a huge save. In the 30th minute Dragoş Maruță shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Vătăşel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to FC Alinborger getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Dacian Ifrim hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 35th minute by Constantin Mironescu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Constantin Mironescu did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Edgar Șora 40 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iacob Anghelescu in the 45th minute of play forced FC Alinborger's goalkeeper Edgar Șora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iacob Anghelescu to make the kick off. The supporters of FC Alinborger booed when Secueni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tudor Bacalu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aurelian Badea hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Secueni's Adrian Vătăşel got control of the ball when Alex Spânu tried to sneak it across the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Secueni's goal looked a bit too open when Octav Zglimbea came free, but Adrian Vătăşel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute Iacob Anghelescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Șora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgar Șora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augustin Ianculescu in the 69th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC Alinborger's zone, Constantin Mironescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar Șora came out of the goal and Constantin Mironescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 79 minutes into the match, FC Alinborger's goal looked a bit too open when Iacob Anghelescu came free, but Edgar Șora reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgar Șora came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Secueni's Iacob Anghelescu. But to his dismay, Iacob Anghelescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. A collision led to FC Alinborger getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Petru Vătăşel hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute, Iacob Anghelescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Secueni fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. There was no doubt that Secueni were the better team. Secueni's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
