The supporters of LIVIUS UNITED MLS booed when Purcaresti CSS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doru Schiau didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 4th minute, Aurelian Savin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alin Holban was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. A collision led to Purcaresti CSS getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Robert Tofan hit a great ball. 8 minutes into the game, Aurelian Savin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Alin Holban was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Doru Schiau got free with Nistor Pârvuță in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Iustin Gorcea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alin Holban having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Purcaresti CSS's Octav Tomoioagă got a free kick in the 24th minute. Octav Tomoioagă kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 48th minute, Aurelian Savin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Alin Holban made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Iustin Gorcea sent off a good shot on target. After 60 played minutes Aurelian Savin rounded Purcaresti CSS's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3. 0-4 became the score in the 70th minute when Aurelian Savin elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Octav Tomoioagă during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Octav Tomoioagă hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Iustin Gorcea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, LIVIUS UNITED MLS's Daniel Amarandei got a free kick in the 79th minute. If Doru Schiau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st match minute, Purcaresti CSS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doru Schiau to maneuver through the defense. Purcaresti CSS's Alin Holban proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Purcaresti CSS from getting a goal against them. The Purcaresti CSS supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching LIVIUS UNITED MLS's performance. The match ended with a win for LIVIUS UNITED MLS.
