Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Adam Ghimiș started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 8 minutes into the match, FC Luck's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Ghimiș came free, but Emilian Şunda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emilian Şunda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marin Petruescu in the 10th minute of the match. When Champions Iasi's Adam Ghimiș in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Luck's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Răzvan Postolache in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emilian Şunda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Adam Ghimiș put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Emilian Şunda. After 19 played minutes FC Luck got a freekick which was hit by Aurelian Bulgar. Champions Iasi's Răzvan Postolache couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 20th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Luck. A hard shot 22 in the game by Ciprian Barboni from a close distance when the talented Cristinel Alexe managed to make a qualified save. Champions Iasi's players were relieved. A collision led to Champions Iasi getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Răzvan Postolache hit a great ball. Aurelian Bulgar kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. If Marin Petruescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aurelian Bulgar hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute, Răzvan Postolache got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emilian Şunda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adam Ghimiș's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marin Petruescu in the 44th minute of play forced FC Luck's goalkeeper Emilian Şunda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Cristinel Alexe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciprian Barboni, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. With a little luck, FC Luck's Emilian Şunda got control of the ball when Răzvan Postolache tried to sneak it across the goal line. Flavius Fința's late challenge caught a Champions Iasi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flavius Fința helped the player get up and apologised. Flavius Fința hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute Adam Ghimiș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilian Şunda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emilian Şunda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marin Petruescu went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After having played for 65 minutes, Răzvan Postolache managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Champions Iasi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Răzvan Postolache was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adam Ghimiș did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-4 to the left of a surprised Emilian Şunda 75 minutes into the match. Emilian Şunda made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Radu Siniştean sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to FC Luck getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Toader Dorlea hit a great ball. Emilian Şunda made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Adam Ghimiș sent off a good shot on target. Emilian Şunda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Răzvan Postolache in the 85th minute. FC Luck's Emilian Şunda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save FC Luck from getting a goal against them. In the 93rd minute of the match Radu Siniştean sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emilian Şunda skillfully saved the ball. Emilian Şunda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Ghimiș in the 97th minute of play. Champions Iasi played a much better game than FC Luck and deserved their victory. The FC Luck players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
