Ilie Pop ran over to the corner to take the kick. ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s Andrei Dinculescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurențiu Ionescu in the 8th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Sergiu Cerchez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andrei Dinculescu. ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sergiu Cerchez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 16 played minutes Juventus Țiu got a freekick which was hit by Eric Mantoiu. Cezar Bălășoiu hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Edgar Enoaia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilie Pop in the 18th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Ferdinand Chiuzbaian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Juventus Țiu's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferdinand Chiuzbaian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrei Dinculescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s Basarab Zdroană got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 36th minute Ferdinand Chiuzbaian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrei Dinculescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Marin Cernescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andrei Dinculescu was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. A collision led to ★POLI★™★VIOLA★ getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Basarab Zdroană hit a great ball. Andrei Dinculescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergiu Cerchez in the 40th minute of the match. When Tiberiu Grindeanu came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the ★POLI★™★VIOLA★ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiberiu Grindeanu couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinand Chiuzbaian in the 45th minute of play forced ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s goalkeeper Andrei Dinculescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Tiberiu Grindeanu's late challenge caught a Juventus Țiu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tiberiu Grindeanu helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Juventus Țiu booed when ★POLI★™★VIOLA★ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Juventus Țiu's goalkeeper Edgar Enoaia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sergiu Cerchez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute, Petrică Tiberiu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s goalkeeper Andrei Dinculescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
