F.C.BARLAD's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lucrețiu Miheș ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 45th match minute, Paralia Athens was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gelu Beșliu to maneuver through the defense. The Paralia Athens players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. F.C.BARLAD were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leonard Chirculescu to strike the kick off in the second half.
