Izydor Walec made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kazimierz Chludzinski in the 12th minute. After 13 minutes, Leon Mnich mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin and the Zielonka Gdansk players grew even worse after the yellow card. Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin made a substitution. Boguslaw Wodaszak replaced Leon Mnich. After 14 played minutes Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin got a freekick which was hit by Leon Mnich. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Izydor Walec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kazimierz Chludzinski in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Jaroslaw Fiszer dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Izydor Walec, 1-0. A collision led to Zielonka Gdansk getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Gilbert Marchewka hit a great ball. Miromir Madajczyk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 32 minutes into the game, Hugon Drab was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zielonka Gdansk the free kick. Hugon Drab hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 38 minutes into the match, Zielonka Gdansk's goal looked a bit too open when Boruc Jaks came free, but Cyprian Kissel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 40 minutes into the game, Kazimierz Chludzinski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Izydor Walec. Kazimierz Chludzinski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. 43 minutes into the match, Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's goalkeeper Izydor Walec had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marek Mojsiewicz. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kazimierz Chludzinski was the one to do the kick off. Izydor Walec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kazimierz Chludzinski in the 52nd minute of the match. Stefan Dembkowski hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. A collision led to Zielonka Gdansk getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Marek Mojsiewicz hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kazimierz Chludzinski in the 63rd minute of play forced Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's goalkeeper Izydor Walec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 67 minutes of play, Zielonka Gdansk's Kazimierz Chludzinski made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Izydor Walec was left in no man's land by his defense there! Izydor Walec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kazimierz Chludzinski in the 73rd minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Korneliusz Frankowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kazimierz Chludzinski kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
