Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Mantvydas Silevičius made the kick off which started today's match. Mantas Puikys made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ævarr Agnarsson in the 3rd minute of play. After 11 played minutes Savage Hippo got a freekick which was hit by Nerijus Narkūnas. A collision led to Savage Hippo getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Nerijus Narkūnas hit a great ball. Savage Hippo's Mantas Puikys played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ástgeir Ólafsson in the 21st minute of play. The supporters of Akranes booed when Savage Hippo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Algitas Mažeikis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mantas Puikys didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ástgeir Ólafsson went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 31st match minute, Savage Hippo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Algitas Mažeikis to maneuver through the defense. After 32 minutes, Yrkill Þórhallsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Akranes and the Savage Hippo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Yrkill Þórhallsson hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. A collision led to Savage Hippo getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Valdas Tindžiulis hit a great ball. Algitas Mažeikis struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Nikolas Mattíasson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Savage Hippo. In the 42nd match minute, Akranes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yrkill Þórhallsson to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Akranes were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ævarr Agnarsson was the one to do the kick off. Valdór Skaptason kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Valdas Tindžiulis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Akranes's Bótólfur Elísson tried to score from far away in the 57th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 67th minute, Nerijus Narkūnas made a precise shot to the right of Nikolas Mattíasson. Akranes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Nikolas Mattíasson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mantvydas Silevičius went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Akranes's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
