Spectators: 162 (Terracing: 122, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ted Bettney started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Henley on Thames United's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Hind came free, but Kasey Shephard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henley on Thames United's Kasey Shephard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Hind in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th match minute, Henley on Thames United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bart Trotter to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Henley on Thames United booed when Clapham Comets F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edward Hind didn't get a good kick on the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Clapham Comets F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Timothy Clist came free, but Conan Shields reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 10 minutes, Jeff Kellaway mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clapham Comets F.C. and the Henley on Thames United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jeff Kellaway kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Conan Wiseman lost his temper 11 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee gave Henley on Thames United a penalty, 13 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Vance Ainsworth, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Clapham Comets F.C.'s Conan Shields. 0-1. In the 15th minute, Hayden Hartley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute, Timothy Clist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th match minute, Henley on Thames United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dane White to maneuver through the defense. Kasey Shephard was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Edward Hind capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edward Hind really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timothy Clist in the 23rd minute of play forced Clapham Comets F.C.'s goalkeeper Conan Shields to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kasey Shephard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Hind, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. With a little luck, Henley on Thames United's Kasey Shephard got control of the ball when Leigh Case tried to sneak it across the goal line. Conan Shields showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bart Trotter, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Kasey Shephard came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Clapham Comets F.C.'s Edward Hind. But to his dismay, Edward Hind quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Robert Thorne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Kasey Shephard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 58 played minutes Henley on Thames United got a freekick which was hit by Ted Bettney. Kasey Shephard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hayden Hartley in the 59th minute of the match. A collision led to Clapham Comets F.C. getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Robert Thorne hit a great ball. Conan Shields made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bart Trotter in the 64th minute. Jeff Kellaway kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Hayden Hartley scored 3-1 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kasey Shephard, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Henley on Thames United's Kasey Shephard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Hind in the 72nd minute of play. Edward Hind scored 4-1 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kasey Shephard, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kasey Shephard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leigh Case, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Henley on Thames United's Kasey Shephard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hayden Hartley in the 84th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Leigh Case notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Henley on Thames United's Kasey Shephard. Kasey Shephard was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Clapham Comets F.C. had won after a very even match.
