Frederik Hoppe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ashley Titmus, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Ashley Titmus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hilsea's supporters rose to their feet, but Ashley Titmus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frederik Hoppe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 24th minute Manuel Martin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bradley Smart saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Hilsea's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Martin came free, but Bradley Smart reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ashley Titmus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nemo Kersken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bradley Smart having to interfere. Hilsea's Bradley Smart played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nemo Kersken in the 34th minute of play. In the 37th minute of the match Valerius Wegmann shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bradley Smart showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 38 minutes into the game, Rupert Forrest was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hilsea's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Green Aaper Forestibexes the free kick. In the 38th minute, Rupert Forrest hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ehrhard Kremer hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Ashley Titmus made the kick off in the second half. When Dion Cooper fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hilsea's protests and gave Dion Cooper a yellow card for diving instead. After 52 played minutes Hilsea got a freekick which was hit by Dion Cooper. Wally Batty received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Frederik Hoppe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gottfried Razavi came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Green Aaper Forestibexes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gottfried Razavi couldn't finish the play. In the 60th match minute, Hilsea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rupert Forrest to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Martin in the 66th minute of play forced Hilsea's goalkeeper Bradley Smart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rupert Forrest was shown his second yellow card after 67 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Liam Read was shown his second yellow card after 80 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 80 played minutes Hilsea got a freekick which was hit by Liam Read. Green Aaper Forestibexes's Manuel Martin managed to work through Hilsea's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Manuel Martin dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Hilsea's Bradley Smart played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Martin in the 85th minute of play. Manuel Martin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
