Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Simon Böck made the kick off and thus started the match. Herberts Mendziņš struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Jerome Herlitizius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GAUJA. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Simon Böck in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brencis Dermans prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Brencis Dermans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Böck in the 9th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in VfL Bad Nenndorf's zone, Frīdis Smukais stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerome Herlitizius came out of the goal and Frīdis Smukais tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ibo Schreiner scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Brencis Dermans, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, VfL Bad Nenndorf's Jerome Herlitizius got control of the ball when Rinalds Brencsons tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frīdis Smukais in the 18th minute of play forced VfL Bad Nenndorf's goalkeeper Jerome Herlitizius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the game, Frīdis Smukais cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Jerome Herlitizius was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. GAUJA's Brencis Dermans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sascha Nelsen in the 21st minute of play. If Ibo Schreiner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brencis Dermans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Böck in the 24th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ibo Schreiner in the 28th minute of play forced GAUJA's goalkeeper Brencis Dermans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute Simon Böck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brencis Dermans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34thth minute of the game Simon Böck who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GAUJA's Brencis Dermans was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 38 minutes into the match, GAUJA's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Böck came free, but Brencis Dermans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brencis Dermans came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by VfL Bad Nenndorf's Ibo Schreiner. But to his dismay, Ibo Schreiner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

50 minutes into the match, VfL Bad Nenndorf's Ibo Schreiner sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Brencis Dermans narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, GAUJA's Igmārs Pinkevics got a free kick in the 51st minute. Frīdis Smukais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerome Herlitizius having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Ibo Schreiner made a precise shot to the right of Brencis Dermans. GAUJA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. After 71 played minutes VfL Bad Nenndorf got a freekick which was hit by Björn Leibold. Jerome Herlitizius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herberts Mendziņš, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the game, Simon Böck cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Brencis Dermans was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 80 minutes into the match, VfL Bad Nenndorf's goal looked a bit too open when Rinalds Brencsons came free, but Jerome Herlitizius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brencis Dermans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Böck, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 88th minute, Simon Böck reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Brencis Dermans. The goal made the score 1-5. Jerome Herlitizius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uldis Kuzītis in the 92nd minute of the match. If Simon Böck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The VfL Bad Nenndorf supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing VfL Bad Nenndorf would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
