Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ričards Padoms kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentīns Vitmanis in the 4th minute of play forced Åsnes's goalkeeper Christoffer Jørgensen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the game, Kaspars Ragutiņš was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Black horses's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Åsnes the free kick. The supporters of Åsnes booed when Black horses was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaspars Ragutiņš didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Black horses's zone, Jonathan Vie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kārlis Blāķis came out of the goal and Jonathan Vie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. David Reitan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Kārlis Blāķis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jon-Egil Gjelsvik during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Åsnes getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Jon-Egil Gjelsvik hit a great ball. Endre Svensen hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 19th match minute, Åsnes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jon-Egil Gjelsvik to maneuver through the defense. Kim Alnes charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kim Alnes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 21st minute, Kim Alnes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gastons Pavelskops struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Christoffer Jørgensen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Black horses. Christoffer Jørgensen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentīns Vitmanis in the 27th minute of play. With a little luck, Black horses's Kārlis Blāķis got control of the ball when Jonathan Vie tried to sneak it across the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Henrihs Rudgalvis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Christoffer Jørgensen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kim Alnes struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kim Alnes got free with Kārlis Blāķis in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Christoffer Jørgensen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ričards Padoms, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henrihs Rudgalvis during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kim Alnes was the one to do the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Kim Alnes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Black horses's Kārlis Blāķis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Black horses's Ričards Padoms got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Kārlis Blāķis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Ødegaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Dan Ødegaard might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kārlis Blāķis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dan Ødegaard ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Reitan in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kārlis Blāķis saved Black horses from getting behind. Kārlis Blāķis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Reitan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 75 played minutes Black horses got a freekick which was hit by Normunds Sils. In the 76th match minute, Åsnes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Reitan to maneuver through the defense. Åsnes's Christoffer Jørgensen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Åsnes from getting a goal against them. If Kim Alnes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the game, Kim Alnes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Kārlis Blāķis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Åsnes booed when Black horses was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gastons Pavelskops didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christoffer Jørgensen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aivis Bukevics in the 93rd minute of play. Åsnes were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
