Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Hilbert Præstbrogaard started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5th match minute, lyptus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dirch Feigh to maneuver through the defense. 8 minutes into the match, Ture Flintberg notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Leicester Lions's Robbie Metcalf. Robbie Metcalf was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Robbie Metcalf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hilbert Præstbrogaard in the 12th minute of the match. A collision led to Leicester Lions getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Ralf Hind hit a great ball. In the 17th minute Kenneth Pejstrup shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robbie Metcalf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rio Linkletter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Sigfried Solbirk made a huge save. Robbie Metcalf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hilbert Præstbrogaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ozzy Blythe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to lyptus getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Dirch Feigh hit a great ball. In the 34th minute, Rio Linkletter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 36 played minutes lyptus got a freekick which was hit by Dirch Feigh. lyptus's Sigfried Solbirk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ralf Hind in the 40th minute of play. Dirch Feigh kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. When Ture Flintberg fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored lyptus's protests and gave Ture Flintberg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th minute, Alf Toelhøj hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 46 played minutes, Leicester Lions's Ian Osborn shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sigfried Solbirk came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Leicester Lions reached it.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rio Linkletter to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rio Linkletter in the 52nd minute of play forced lyptus's goalkeeper Sigfried Solbirk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 53 minutes into the match, lyptus's goal looked a bit too open when Ozzy Blythe came free, but Sigfried Solbirk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55thth minute of the game Ozzy Blythe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but lyptus's Sigfried Solbirk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Ture Flintberg took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Robbie Metcalf to make any attempt to save it. Robbie Metcalf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hilbert Præstbrogaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Leicester Lions's Ralf Hind in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye lyptus's goalie prevented a goal. Gaz Stead hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Ozzy Blythe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sigfried Solbirk was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Sigfried Solbirk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ozzy Blythe, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jack Stelager during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jack Stelager hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. When Ture Flintberg was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 86 minutes had been played. Ture Flintberg hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Rio Linkletter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stu Frizzell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Sigfried Solbirk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sigfried Solbirk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stu Frizzell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched lyptus eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
