Spectators: 206 (Terracing: 155, Seating: 47, VIP seats: 4) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fabien Grub started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Bertil Duerlund left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Monks in Robes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 9 minutes into the match, Samuel Schweiger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rupert Give. Monks in Robes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Samuel Schweiger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabien Grub in the 13th minute of play forced Monks in Robes's goalkeeper Rupert Give to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rupert Give took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabien Grub, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute Roger Hvitved shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Günter Wienhold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leif Sjørlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Günter Wienhold having to interfere. After some careless play in the SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. defense, Ditlev Gørmez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Günter Wienhold. The SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Günter Wienhold should have stopped the shot. 36 minutes into the match, Monks in Robes's Roger Hvitved sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Günter Wienhold narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Günter Wienhold took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Hvitved, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th match minute, Monks in Robes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens Borges to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute, Georg Gielchen sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Monks in Robes's Rupert Give didn't even have to move. In the 66th minute Roger Hvitved shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Günter Wienhold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ditlev Gørmez hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Fritz Nettig was substituted for Gunther Trendelenburg. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. reached it. After a rather tough play, SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Dejan Leuschner got a free kick in the 71st minute. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Georg Gielchen couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 89th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Monks in Robes. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Roger Hvitved managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monks in Robes's supporters rose to their feet, but Roger Hvitved was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Günter Wienhold breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 95 played minutes SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. got a freekick which was hit by Olaf Wagner.
