Günter Wienhold showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sean Farcinsen in the 41st minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Fabien Grub made the kick off in the second half. In the 82nd minute, Georg Gielchen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Ivar Gjersøe in the 83rd minute really tested Günter Wienhold's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 86th minute Albert Neerholt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Günter Wienhold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 87 played minutes Injuries got a freekick which was hit by Ivar Gjersøe. In the 88th minute, Georg Gielchen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Günter Wienhold made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ottorino Skjold in the 91st minute. Günter Wienhold made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Eddi Ramkilde sent off a good shot on target.
