Spectators: 206 (Terracing: 155, Seating: 47, VIP seats: 4) Günter Wache started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Matty Plant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Willi Grünberger in the 7th minute of the match. In the 8thth minute of the game Günter Wache who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Coventry Wasps's Matty Plant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When West Staines Massive's Günter Wache in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Coventry Wasps's goalie prevented a goal. Arne Pahlke hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the match, West Staines Massive's goal looked a bit too open when Ben Moxon came free, but Siegmund Nickel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Siegmund Nickel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ben Moxon in the 13th minute of play. Matty Plant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Günter Wache in the 15th minute of play. Ronny Shipperley might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Siegmund Nickel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ronny Shipperley ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 16th minute of the match Gus Fountain sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Siegmund Nickel skillfully saved the ball. Siegmund Nickel made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Ben Moxon sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Coventry Wasps defense, Günter Wache kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matty Plant. The Coventry Wasps fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matty Plant should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Lewis Davey took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Siegmund Nickel to make any attempt to save it. In the 32nd match minute, Coventry Wasps was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gus Fountain to maneuver through the defense. Henning Prinz's late challenge caught a Coventry Wasps's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henning Prinz helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Coventry Wasps booed when West Staines Massive was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henning Prinz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Günter Wache notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Coventry Wasps's Matty Plant. Matty Plant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Coventry Wasps players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. West Staines Massive were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ronny Shipperley to strike the kick off in the second half. Matty Plant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Willi Grünberger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Coventry Wasps's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Günter Wache was slow to take the kick. During this time West Staines Massive's players had a chance to rest. The corner led West Staines Massive's Günter Wache to fire away a dangerous shot which Matty Plant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 56 minutes into the game, West Staines Massive's Günter Wache nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matty Plant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. In the 62nd minute Ulf Röwe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matty Plant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Siegmund Nickel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Louis Bateman in the 64th minute of play. Siegmund Nickel came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Coventry Wasps's Ben Moxon. But to his dismay, Ben Moxon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Matty Plant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulf Röwe, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Matty Plant was a little too slow when Willi Grünberger got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 2-4. Coventry Wasps made a substitution. Justin Shuttleworth replaced Ben Moxon. Günter Waches short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Matty Plant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Phil Eagles during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Phil Eagles hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Coventry Wasps made a substitution. Mitch Callery replaced Ronny Shipperley. Phil Eagles kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. The West Staines Massive players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
