UNLIMITED's Franco Maccioni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save UNLIMITED from getting a goal against them. Enzo Pallotta hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute, Arturo Pittelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fausto Perazzolo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Achille Fiordelisi having to interfere. In the 34th minute, one of UNLIMITED:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for UNLIMITED. 39 minutes into the match, Antonio Teodori had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Franco Maccioni. UNLIMITED's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antonio Teodori was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. When Cesare Ferrini fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UNLIMITED's protests and gave Cesare Ferrini a yellow card for diving instead. Cesare Ferrini hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antonio Teodori made a kick off. Franco Maccioni didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dave Paoletti went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, UNLIMITED's Alex Trinca got a free kick in the 56th minute. Fausto Perazzolo hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. The supporters of Talenti Roma Calcio booed when UNLIMITED was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amedeo Castrucci didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in UNLIMITED's zone, Concetto Lauri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Franco Maccioni came out of the goal and Concetto Lauri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. UNLIMITED's Franco Maccioni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelio Terrasi in the 63rd minute of play. Ferruccio Scotti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Achille Fiordelisi having to interfere. 69 minutes into the game, Talenti Roma Calcio's Antonio Teodori nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Franco Maccioni made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. 71 minutes into the match, Aurelio Terrasi notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of UNLIMITED's Franco Maccioni. Franco Maccioni was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cesare Ferrini kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After having played for 79 minutes, Cesare Mazzini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Talenti Roma Calcio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cesare Mazzini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Franco Maccioni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Teodori in the 88th minute of the match. After 88 played minutes UNLIMITED got a freekick which was hit by Ferruccio Scotti. UNLIMITED's Franco Maccioni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Teodori in the 89th minute of play. Aurelio Terrasi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Franco Maccioni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fausto Perazzolo struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Achille Fiordelisi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UNLIMITED. There was no doubt that Talenti Roma Calcio were the better team. Talenti Roma Calcio's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
