The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Aldo Munno dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Amos Giusto, 1-0. Daniele Crema received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Amos Giusto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Daniele Crema had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Amos Giusto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuele Ottaviani, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 27th minute, Felice Trabucco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute, Soliera's Anthony Faiella dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. With a little luck, Sporting Club Sicilia's Amos Giusto got control of the ball when Anthony Faiella tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 38 minutes, Demetrio Rivera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sporting Club Sicilia and the Soliera players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Sporting Club Sicilia getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Demetrio Rivera hit a great ball. Soliera's Anthony Faiella got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amos Giusto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felice Trabucco in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th minute Felice Trabucco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amos Giusto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
