Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Maritek FC's Claudio Monaco started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to F.C. Elbląg POLAND™ getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Hyllos Samios hit a great ball. Claudio Monaco came free with the goalkeeper in the 4th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Takis Tsarouhtsis could save by the left post. After 5 played minutes F.C. Elbląg POLAND™ got a freekick which was hit by Salmakis Saatsakis. Claudio Monaco in the 6thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Takis Tsarouhtsis, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Kolkhis Papoulis scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eugenio Citrullo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee felt a red card was in order, 12 minutes into the game, when Amos Fallito put in a rough tackle. Amos Fallito hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Fedele Varglien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Takis Tsarouhtsis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edmondo Lepori recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 19th match minute, Maritek FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amerigo Donato to maneuver through the defense. Alberigo Cucci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Takis Tsarouhtsis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camillo Salomone in the 27th minute of the match. Takis Tsarouhtsis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fedele Varglien, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Camillo Salomone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Takis Tsarouhtsis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fedele Varglien in the 37th minute of the match. Fedele Varglien charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fedele Varglien the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fedele Varglien kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Fedele Varglien fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Takis Tsarouhtsis having to interfere. Elbląg POLAND™'s Troizen Rachiotis got a free kick in the 59th minute. The supporters of F.C. Elbląg POLAND™ booed when Maritek FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Monaco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alekos Katevatis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Eugenio Citrullo made a huge save. Fedele Varglien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Takis Tsarouhtsis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Takis Tsarouhtsis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fedele Varglien in the 84th minute of play. Eugenio Citrullo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 85th minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. When Troizen Rachiotis fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.C. Elbląg POLAND™'s protests and gave Troizen Rachiotis a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in F.C. Elbląg POLAND™ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 89th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Maritek FC a penalty, 92 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Amerigo Donato, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of F.C. Elbląg POLAND™'s Takis Tsarouhtsis. 3-2. There was no doubt that Maritek FC were the better team. Maritek FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
