Fedele Schiacciacasse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Ciarrocchi in the 7th minute of the match. The supporters of A.S. Udinese booed when Kroton F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Davide Zangari didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Davide Lucente came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the A.S. Udinese fans jumped to their feet. Alexander Granato made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Davide Lucente sent off a good shot on target. Fedele Schiacciacasse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enzo Scacchi, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. A collision led to A.S. Udinese getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Frank Di Salvatore hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Felice Guidoni made a kick off. Alexander Granato came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by A.S. Udinese's Felice Guidoni. But to his dismay, Felice Guidoni quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 57th minute Davide Lucente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Granato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the game, Ettore Tammaro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A.S. Udinese's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kroton F.C. the free kick. The supporters of Kroton F.C. booed when A.S. Udinese's Ferruccio Negrini got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After 84 played minutes Kroton F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Davide Zangari. But to his dismay, Felice Guidoni quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 92 minutes into the match, Kroton F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Davide Lucente came free, but Alexander Granato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A.S. Udinese's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
