When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Corrado Federici put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Arturo Verdone. Valdieri's Arturo Verdone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Corrado Federici in the 6th minute of play. Arturo Verdone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elia Borel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the game, Elia Borel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Arturo Verdone was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Valdieri's Arturo Verdone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Corrado Federici in the 21st minute of play. After 25 minutes of play, Seggiano's Corrado Federici made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arturo Verdone was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Seggiano's Antonio Vinci got control of the ball when Dennis Berardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Corrado Federici ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arturo Verdone was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. 35 minutes into the match, Elia Borel notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Valdieri's Arturo Verdone. Arturo Verdone was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 40th minute, Corrado Federici made a precise shot to the right of Arturo Verdone. Valdieri's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by Corrado Federici in the 43rd minute of play forced Valdieri's goalkeeper Arturo Verdone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elia Borel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Verdone having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Corrado Federici had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arturo Verdone. Valdieri's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Corrado Federici was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-8 lead.

Arturo Verdone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elia Borel, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the last second Arturo Verdone throw himself and got hold of the ball when Elia Borel in the 57thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Will Robinson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Arturo Verdone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elia Borel in the 69th minute of play forced Valdieri's goalkeeper Arturo Verdone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute, Seggiano's Elia Borel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arturo Verdone. Arturo Verdone yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-11. With his leg Arturo Verdone managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when Seggiano's Corrado Federici fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The Seggiano fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Seggiano's Corrado Federici looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-12 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edoardo Cabrini during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Valdieri getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Edoardo Cabrini hit a great ball. Corrado Federici could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Arturo Verdone made a huge save. In the 95th minute Elia Borel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Verdone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 98 played minutes Seggiano got a freekick which was hit by Corrado Federici. Seggiano's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
