Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edmondo Ruggieri started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Joaquim Cariou made a precise shot to the right of Alberto Maio. Montesacro FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Alberto Maio made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Joaquim Cariou sent off a good shot on target. Achille Bouleau took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alberto Maio. Alberto Maio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. With a little luck, Montesacro FC's Alberto Maio got control of the ball when Joaquim Cariou tried to sneak it across the goal line. Valérien Combettes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmondo Ruggieri in the 17th minute of the match. Carter Rotondi charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carter Rotondi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eymeric Roux placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Edmondo Ruggieri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 27 minutes, Eymeric Roux mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fierce and the Montesacro FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eymeric Roux hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 34 minutes into the game, Edmondo Monzeglio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Montesacro FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fierce the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Montesacro FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 34th minute. Penalty! The supporters of Fierce booed when Montesacro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonello Trabucco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joaquim Cariou's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alberto Maio firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 43rd match minute, Montesacro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferruccio Domenici to maneuver through the defense. Achille Bouleau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Alberto Maio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joaquim Cariou was the one to do the kick off. After 51 minutes, Mathis Robles mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fierce and the Montesacro FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 55th play minute Edmondo Ruggieri came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Valérien Combettes. 3-1. When Mathis Robles came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Fierce fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mathis Robles couldn't finish the play. Alberto Maio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Cariou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Mathis Robles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frank Scarcella hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After 68 minutes of play Montesacro FC's Edmondo Monzeglio was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 69 played minutes Montesacro FC got a freekick which was hit by Edmondo Monzeglio. Eymeric Roux recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 71 minutes of play, Fierce's Mathis Robles made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alberto Maio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alberto Maio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathis Robles in the 75th minute of the match. If Cesare Gentili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edmondo Ruggieri kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Montesacro FC's Alberto Maio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Cariou in the 90th minute of play. Edmondo Ruggieri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Valérien Combettes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valérien Combettes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonello Trabucco, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. After having played for 94 minutes, Edmondo Ruggieri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montesacro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmondo Ruggieri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
