The tension between the ERGOTELIS and the Kerkyra FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thomas Psaris hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Babbis Chiotis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Evaggelos Koutsodimos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Dimos Paschalis kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Kerkyra FC's Stathis Livathinos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Evaggelos Koutsodimos. Evaggelos Koutsodimos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 27th match minute, Kerkyra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charis Malezas to maneuver through the defense. Tasos Karypidis kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Alketas Koulakiotis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kostas Makrodimitris in the 30th minute of the match. The supporters of Kerkyra FC booed when ERGOTELIS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Akis Logothetis didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Theofilos Tripitsidis fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kerkyra FC's protests and gave Theofilos Tripitsidis a yellow card for diving instead. After 33 played minutes Kerkyra FC got a freekick which was hit by Theofilos Tripitsidis. It was a well-played corner which Anestis Kapsimalis managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Evaggelos Koutsodimos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Koulis Kouloucheris in the 38th minute. After having played for 42 minutes, Stathis Livathinos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kerkyra FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stathis Livathinos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thomas Psaris kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Babbis Chiotis fired a really elegant long shot, but Evaggelos Koutsodimos threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post.

A collision led to ERGOTELIS getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Thrasivoulos Tsiblidis hit a great ball. When Stamatis Tsilikas came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Kerkyra FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stamatis Tsilikas couldn't finish the play. Kerkyra FC made a substitution. Valentinos Kanellakis replaced Charis Malezas. A collision led to ERGOTELIS getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Anestis Kapsimalis hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentinos Kanellakis in the 62nd minute of play forced ERGOTELIS's goalkeeper Evaggelos Koutsodimos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evaggelos Koutsodimos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stamatis Tsilikas in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, ERGOTELIS's goal looked a bit too open when Stathis Livathinos came free, but Evaggelos Koutsodimos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Koulis Kouloucheris fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kerkyra FC's protests and gave Koulis Kouloucheris a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Kerkyra FC's Koulis Kouloucheris got a free kick in the 69th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stathis Livathinos in the 71st minute of play forced ERGOTELIS's goalkeeper Evaggelos Koutsodimos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evaggelos Koutsodimos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Koulis Kouloucheris, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 80th match minute, Kerkyra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Theofilos Tripitsidis to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd play minute Kostas Makrodimitris came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Alketas Koulakiotis. 1-1. 88 minutes into the game, Valentinos Kanellakis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Evaggelos Koutsodimos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stathis Livathinos in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Evaggelos Koutsodimos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 95 minutes, Stathis Livathinos made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. ERGOTELIS's Evaggelos Koutsodimos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
