The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Beppe Pozzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Giorgio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Beppe Pozzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvise Iacobucci, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. If Alvise Iacobucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Dexter Morgan VR46's Flavio Miranda got a free kick in the 38th minute. A collision led to Dexter Morgan VR46 getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Ermanno Lucidi hit a great ball. Alfredo Malvezzi fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 42nd minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Flavio Miranda was the one to do the kick off. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Santoryu FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
