Spectators: 163 (Terracing: 123, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Alfonso Festa started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Anfilogino Maietta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Coriano FC's zone, Anfilogino Maietta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Urbani came out of the goal and Anfilogino Maietta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 7th match minute, Calenzano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabiano Biscotti to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Eugenio Caniglia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Antonio Gizzi was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. If Enrico Di Gennaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio Caniglia in the 13th minute of play forced Calenzano's goalkeeper Antonio Gizzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eugenio Caniglia's late challenge caught a Calenzano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eugenio Caniglia helped the player get up and apologised. After 21 played minutes Coriano FC got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Caniglia. With an all-out effort, Calenzano's Angelo Urbani threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Enrico Di Gennaro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Camillo Luongo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Gizzi having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Enrico Di Gennaro fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Angelo Urbani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anfilogino Maietta in the 32nd minute of play. In the 35th minute, Coriano FC's Fabiano Mattioli seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Fabiano Mattioli the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Coriano FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Fabiano Mattioli had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 36th minute there was a penalty for Calenzano. Fulvio Aquilino stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Angelo Urbani. 1-0. 41 minutes into the game, Fulvio Aquilino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Calenzano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Coriano FC the free kick. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eugenio Caniglia made a kick off. A collision led to Calenzano getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Fausto Mastrocola hit a great ball. Antonio Gizzi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Camillo Luongo in the 53rd minute. In the 63rd minute, Enrico Di Gennaro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angelo Urbani was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 70th minute, Ennio Piola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st match minute, Coriano FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ennio Piola to maneuver through the defense. Alfonso Festa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fortunato Del Pizzo kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Alfonso Festa might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angelo Urbani. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfonso Festa ran back to his position shaking his head. Anfilogino Maietta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Angelo Urbani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Coriano FC's Beppe Andreola couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Calenzano. Alfonso Festa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Urbani having to interfere. After 91 minutes, Donato Tullo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Coriano FC and the Calenzano players grew even worse after the yellow card. Donato Tullo hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the match, Enrico Di Gennaro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Angelo Urbani. Coriano FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enrico Di Gennaro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Coriano FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
