Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Dennis Di Pasquale made the kick off which started today's match. After a rather tough play, La Pointe Courte's Patxi Seux got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 5th minute, one of La Pointe Courte:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for La Pointe Courte. Alex Franceschi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dominique Virapin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dominique Virapin hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. A collision led to forsal FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Dennis Di Pasquale hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the match, Dominique Virapin notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of forsal FC's Alex Franceschi. Alex Franceschi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, La Pointe Courte's Sabri Fouquet got control of the ball when Dennis Di Pasquale tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to forsal FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Dario Tieri hit a great ball. Alex Franceschi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dominique Virapin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberigo Cavaliere had several of the La Pointe Courte's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 40 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-1 score and a disappointed Sabri Fouquet as he didn't even see the shot coming. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thibaut Mazieres to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, forsal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fedele Tacco to maneuver through the defense. In the 52nd minute of the match Jean-Michel Blandin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alex Franceschi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Aurelio Cangiano hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Fabien Gouraud was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 55 minutes into the match. In the 56th match minute, La Pointe Courte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabien Gouraud to maneuver through the defense. Augusto Nero struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Sabri Fouquet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for forsal FC. Thibaut Mazieres's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 59thth minute, Alex Franceschi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thibaut Mazieres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. La Pointe Courte made a substitution. Mathis Castella replaced Yann Segond. After 66 played minutes forsal FC got a freekick which was hit by Fedele Tacco. Thibaut Mazieress short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Alex Franceschi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 76th minute, Dennis Di Pasquale made a precise shot to the right of Sabri Fouquet. La Pointe Courte's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Nero in the 79th minute of play forced La Pointe Courte's goalkeeper Sabri Fouquet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute, Patxi Seux hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. La Pointe Courte's Sabri Fouquet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberigo Cavaliere in the 84th minute of play. Mathis Castella kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 87th minute Dennis Di Pasquale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabri Fouquet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Pierre-Antoine Mariette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thibaut Mazieres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Alex Franceschi made a huge save. forsal FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of La Pointe Courte for a fine match.
