Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Alexis Dellios's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yohann Debove read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Yohann Debove didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Notis Trontzos went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 9th match minute, Paris was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles-Henri Grivet to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the game, Olympiacos FC's Notis Trontzos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yohann Debove made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Notis Trontzos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yohann Debove having to interfere. In the 16th minute Notis Trontzos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yohann Debove saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Olympiacos FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Notis Trontzos hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Paris's zone, Notis Trontzos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yohann Debove came out of the goal and Notis Trontzos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Dimitris Koudas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yohann Debove was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. In the 32nd minute, Charles-Henri Grivet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Alexis Dellios managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olympiacos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexis Dellios was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yohann Debove breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 37 minutes into the match, Paris's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitris Koudas came free, but Yohann Debove reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 46 played minutes Olympiacos FC got a freekick which was hit by Markos Kareklopoulos. Markos Kareklopoulos hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. Eustratios Vertsotis was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 49th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Pierre-Loup Melchior. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Notis Trontzos was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Olympiacos FC's Panos Loukas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yohann Debove made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Paris's Yohann Debove proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Paris from getting a goal against them. Yohann Debove took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dimitris Koudas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the match, Paris's goalkeeper Yohann Debove had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Panos Loukas. In the 66thth minute of the game Erwin Moyne who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Olympiacos FC's Eustratios Vertsotis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 67th minute, Dimitris Koudas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olympiacos FC's Avraam Chalkias was substituted for Alexis Dellios. The supporters of Paris booed when Olympiacos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dimitris Koudas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yohann Debove made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitris Koudas in the 78th minute of play. In the 81st minute Dimitris Koudas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yohann Debove saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yohann Debove was a little too slow when Dimitris Koudas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 0-6. Eustratios Vertsotis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mike Allègre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 88 minutes, Dimitris Koudas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olympiacos FC and the Paris players grew even worse after the yellow card.
