Biagio Pantano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Lipovljani getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Sanjin Vusak hit a great ball. Ferruccio Del Greco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Lino Crnogaj made a huge save. Lino Crnogaj took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrico Venditti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lino Crnogaj showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felice Schiacciacasse, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Biagio Pantano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rene Stjepović in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute of the match Lipovljani got a corner. Glasgow Rangers FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Viktor Džidžić ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 22nd minute of the match Simon Rudež shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Biagio Pantano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Lipovljani's goal looked a bit too open when Enrico Venditti came free, but Lino Crnogaj reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Lipovljani's Silvio Batinić got a free kick in the 26th minute. Ferruccio Del Greco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Lino Crnogaj made a huge save. Lino Crnogaj came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Glasgow Rangers FC's Dennis Lio. But to his dismay, Dennis Lio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After having played for 45 minutes, Felice Schiacciacasse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Glasgow Rangers FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felice Schiacciacasse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lino Crnogaj took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrico Venditti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Glasgow Rangers FC made a substitution. Fulvio Belfiore replaced Bruno Bravo. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Franko Glamočanin to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennis Lio in the 61st minute of play forced Lipovljani's goalkeeper Lino Crnogaj to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Lipovljani booed when Glasgow Rangers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrico Venditti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Franko Glamočanin in the 72ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Biagio Pantano, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match had been going on for 75 minutes, Lipovljani's Viktor Džidžić got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Biagio Pantano. If Rene Stjepović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute Felice Schiacciacasse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Crnogaj saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lino Crnogaj showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dennis Lio in the 92nd minute of the match. The Lipovljani fans' excitement grew in the 93rd match minute when Lipovljani's Franko Glamočanin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lipovljani's Lino Crnogaj played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferruccio Del Greco in the 98th minute of play. Lino Crnogaj showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dennis Lio in the 99th minute of the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
