Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Leonard Calleja made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute Luca Callus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but William Desbois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dejan Cumbo came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by En avant de guingamp's Sammy Gantier. But to his dismay, Sammy Gantier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 9 played minutes Seraċini Għawdxin got a freekick which was hit by Nigel Alessandro. Seraċini Għawdxin's Dejan Cumbo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mamadou Bertholet in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Honoré Letailleur notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Seraċini Għawdxin's Dejan Cumbo. Dejan Cumbo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonard Calleja during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Seraċini Għawdxin's zone, Honoré Letailleur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dejan Cumbo came out of the goal and Honoré Letailleur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When En avant de guingamp's Djamel Berlémont in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Seraċini Għawdxin's goalie prevented a goal. Godwin Spagnol kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute of the match Mamadou Bertholet sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dejan Cumbo skillfully saved the ball. Dejan Cumbo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sammy Gantier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute, Leonard Calleja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Djamel Berlémont sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Djamel Berlémont came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the En avant de guingamp fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Djamel Berlémont couldn't finish the play. After the first half En avant de guingamp were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Djamel Berlémont to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Djamel Berlémont had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dejan Cumbo. Seraċini Għawdxin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Djamel Berlémont was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. 57 minutes into the game, Leonard Calleja cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. William Desbois was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Reuben Caruana fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Seraċini Għawdxin's protests and gave Reuben Caruana a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65th minute, Reuben Caruana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67thth minute of the game Honoré Letailleur who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Seraċini Għawdxin's Dejan Cumbo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dejan Cumbo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Djamel Berlémont's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Seraċini Għawdxin's Louis Mamo got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leonard Calleja got his second yellow card in the match during the 81st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Sammy Gantier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clément Wiss hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Louis Le Comte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dejan Cumbo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Djamel Berlémont, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over En avant de guingamp could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Seraċini Għawdxin throughout the match.
