Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) After 7th play minutes Gastão Cesário shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Hamilton Vasques and just under the crossbar into goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adão Pádua during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Adão Pádua hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute, Olavo Gueifão ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hamilton Vasques was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Hamilton Vasques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olavo Gueifão in the 20th minute of play. Hamilton Vasques made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Gastão Cesário sent off a good shot on target. In the 21st minute, Adão Pádua hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Lima Team's zone, Gastão Cesário stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hamilton Vasques came out of the goal and Gastão Cesário tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Lima Team's Hamilton Vasques got control of the ball when Gastão Cesário tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hamilton Vasques made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Gastão Cesário sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Lima Team defense, António Vilela kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hamilton Vasques. The Lima Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hamilton Vasques should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Germano Madureira sped through Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hamilton Poças. 48 minutes into the game, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Gastão Cesário nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hamilton Vasques made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gastão Cesário stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, one of Lima Team:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 54th minute there was a penalty for Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.. Gastão Cesário stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hamilton Vasques. 5-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Teófilo Quintas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lima Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Teófilo Quintas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hamilton Poças breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Henrique Cruz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hamilton Poças having to make a save. In the 70th match minute, Lima Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Bessa to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Teófilo Quintas could shoot a difficult shot in the 74th minute, which Hamilton Poças however easily saved by the left post. In the 79th minute, Gastão Cesário ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hamilton Vasques was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-4. 97 minutes into the game, António Vilela cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-4. Hamilton Vasques was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
