Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Natalio Durango kicked off to start the match. Urbasa Ribas came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by PERSPOLIS's Goiz Calvo. But to his dismay, Goiz Calvo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 11th match minute, PERSPOLIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genaro Segarra to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 12 minutes, Gerardo Campos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nubecitas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerardo Campos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 15 minutes into the game, Nubecitas FC's Elvis De la Rosa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Virgilio Marcilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Genaro Segarra scored 1-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Urbasa Ribas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Natalio Durango sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Saul Salgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. PERSPOLIS's Virgilio Marcilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save PERSPOLIS from getting a goal against them. Urbasa Ribas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidencio Lagunas in the 34th minute of the match. A hard shot 44 in the game by Saul Salgado from a close distance when the talented Virgilio Marcilla managed to make a qualified save. PERSPOLIS's players were relieved. After the first half PERSPOLIS were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Genaro Segarra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Natalio Durango received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Virgilio Marcilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd match minute, PERSPOLIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurino Acedo to maneuver through the defense. Gerardo Campos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Virgilio Marcilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saul Salgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Natalio Durango in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Virgilio Marcilla saved PERSPOLIS from getting behind. Virgilio Marcilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Campos, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. When Manolo Ucero fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PERSPOLIS's protests and gave Manolo Ucero a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, PERSPOLIS's Manolo Ucero got a free kick in the 85th minute. Virgilio Marcilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Campos in the 87th minute of the match. After 90 played minutes Nubecitas FC got a freekick which was hit by Elvis De la Rosa. In the 91st minute of the match Goiz Calvo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Urbasa Ribas skillfully saved the ball. Natalio Durango struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Virgilio Marcilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nubecitas FC. PERSPOLIS were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Nubecitas FC's much stronger midfield.
