The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 12 minutes, Evaristo Ruiz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Villel and the Dark Wolves FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Villel's Evaristo Ruiz got a free kick in the 12th minute. Andrés Cainzos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Carrasqueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Carrasqueira in the 28th minute of play forced Villel's goalkeeper Andrés Cainzos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Gualter Miranda fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dark Wolves FC's protests and gave Gualter Miranda a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Dark Wolves FC's Wilson Ventura got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 40th match minute, Villel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Germán Baeza to maneuver through the defense. Gualter Miranda might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andrés Cainzos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gualter Miranda ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Villel defense, Angelo Lamego kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andrés Cainzos. The Villel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andrés Cainzos should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joaquim Carrasqueira to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the game, Laércio Rebelo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 78th minute of the match Wilson Ventura sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andrés Cainzos skillfully saved the ball. The throw-in from Angelo Lamego in the 96th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Villel's Nando Figueres. The supporters of Villel booed when Dark Wolves FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gualter Miranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded Dark Wolves FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Villel.
