Renato Diaz hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute Jordão Bacelar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Mangas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nel Ramos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. José Madruga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nel Ramos in the 20th minute of the match. When Nel Ramos fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Riemannian's protests and gave Nel Ramos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd match minute, Riemannian was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nel Ramos to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute, Gualter Carmo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vítor Barbosa lost his temper 25 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Vítor Barbosa hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute of the match Ovidio Macho sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but José Madruga skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Atlético Micaelense getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Jorge Nascimento hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the match, Atlético Micaelense's goalkeeper José Madruga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Orlan Alcantara. After a defensive mix-up in Riemannian's zone, Mário Ferraz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Mangas came out of the goal and Mário Ferraz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Segundo Sauca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but José Madruga made a huge save. Atlético Micaelense's José Madruga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Micaelense from getting a goal against them. Atlético Micaelense's José Madruga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nel Ramos in the 46th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Renato Diaz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Nel Ramos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 56 minutes into the match, Riemannian's goalkeeper David Mangas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mário Ferraz. Gualter Carmo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. David Mangas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Madruga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renato Diaz in the 64th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the game, Renato Diaz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. José Madruga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 89 played minutes, Atlético Micaelense's Jorge Mourão shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper David Mangas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Atlético Micaelense reached it. After 92 minutes, Neto Vazquez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Riemannian and the Atlético Micaelense players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 94 played minutes Riemannian got a freekick which was hit by Neto Vazquez. When the referee ended the match the Riemannian players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
