Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Leo Van Mechelen took the kick off in the first half of the match. Leon Janák kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. When Benoit Clinckspoor fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored YR Mechelen's protests and gave Benoit Clinckspoor a yellow card for diving instead. FC Kopeto's Jakub Picka proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save FC Kopeto from getting a goal against them. Ricky Tilemans hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 28th match minute, FC Kopeto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miroslav Halas to maneuver through the defense. Stanny Van Wontergem hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. If Zdeněk Skalník had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jakub Picka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Van Mechelen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roni Van Hoyveldt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivo Vošický in the 39th minute of the match. Leo Van Mechelen did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Jakub Picka 44 minutes into the match. Jakub Picka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnauld Van Eynde in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ivo Vošický made a kick off. FC Kopeto's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zdeněk Skalník in the 52nd minute. The corner led FC Kopeto's Zdeněk Skalník to fire away a dangerous shot which Roni Van Hoyveldt despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Zdeněk Skalník fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roni Van Hoyveldt having to interfere. In the 56th match minute, YR Mechelen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricky Tilemans to maneuver through the defense. If Zdeněk Skalník had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zdeněk Zemánek hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute of the match YR Mechelen got a corner. FC Kopeto's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Maurice Van Mechelen ran over to the corner to take the kick. Roel Van Den Eijnde was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. FC Kopeto made a substitution. Silvestr Koukal replaced Jurij Švajda. Jakub Picka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnauld Van Eynde in the 69th minute of play. Jakub Picka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Van Mechelen, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Leo Van Mechelen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zdeněk Zemánek didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Zdeněk Skalník came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the FC Kopeto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zdeněk Skalník couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Van Mechelen in the 91st minute of play forced FC Kopeto's goalkeeper Jakub Picka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. YR Mechelen's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
