Wannes Tielemans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Bálint Földesi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Pénzügyőr SE's Máté Almási got a free kick in the 5th minute. Pénzügyőr SE's Bálint Földesi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ward De Wilde in the 15th minute of play. Wannes Tielemans scored 0-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bálint Földesi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 28 minutes into the match, Pénzügyőr SE's goal looked a bit too open when Wannes Tielemans came free, but Bálint Földesi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raf Snijers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bálint Földesi having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wannes Tielemans in the 35th minute of play forced Pénzügyőr SE's goalkeeper Bálint Földesi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Wannes Tielemans had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bálint Földesi. Pénzügyőr SE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wannes Tielemans was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Bálint Földesi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raf Snijers in the 41st minute of play. A collision led to Pénzügyőr SE getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Bálint Tímár hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bálint Tímár to strike the kick off in the second half. The shot was stopped by Bálint Földesi but with some difficulty. Bálint Földesi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wannes Tielemans in the 60th minute. A collision led to Pénzügyőr SE getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Attila Simon hit a great ball. Wannes Tielemans's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Bálint Földesi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 65 minutes into the game, Attila Simon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pénzügyőr SE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Royal Antwerp F.C. the free kick. A collision led to Pénzügyőr SE getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Arnout Vissenaekers charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnout Vissenaekers the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 91 played minutes Royal Antwerp F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Arnout Vissenaekers. Bálint Földesi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wannes Tielemans, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Royal Antwerp F.C. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
