Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) FC Gullegem's Kenny De Block started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kenny De Block in the 3rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sem Severens, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Through an outstanding action, after 4 minutes, Sem Severens successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Thanks to some nice moves Kenny De Block could shoot a difficult shot in the 8th minute, which Sem Severens however easily saved by the left post. Michel Dauwe kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Jerom Van Impe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sem Severens having to make a save. The referee felt a red card was in order, 12 minutes into the game, when Corneel Taverniers put in a rough tackle. In the 14th minute there was a penalty for FC Gullegem. Jerom Van Impe stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sem Severens. 1-0. Robben Degryse could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Sem Severens made a huge save. Winksele 2016's Sem Severens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Winksele 2016 from getting a goal against them. Sem Severens made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robben Degryse in the 21st minute. In the 26th minute, David Aelgoet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claude Van Dijck during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Claude Van Dijck kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 37 minutes into the game, FC Gullegem's Robben Degryse nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sem Severens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 40 minutes in the game, Jeoffrey Deroek fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Sem Severens having to interfere. Sem Severens made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robben Degryse in the 41st minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When Kenny De Block came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the FC Gullegem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kenny De Block couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Winksele 2016's Claude Van Dijck got a free kick in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerom Van Impe in the 56th minute of play forced Winksele 2016's goalkeeper Sem Severens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute Kenny De Block shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sem Severens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Aelgoet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute, Jerom Van Impe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Janes Hendricks made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gill Uijterhoeven in the 90th minute of play. Sem Severens came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Gullegem's Kenny De Block. But to his dismay, Kenny De Block quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Gullegem had played much better football throughout.
