In the 6th minute, Vagner Penisson made a precise shot to the right of Robbe Van Der Taelen. FC Ouagadougou National's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 9th minute, Bryan Van Haeght fired a really elegant long shot, but Yanic Kulenovic threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Chris-George Elssen struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Yanic Kulenovic didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Ouagadougou National. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Koen Van Hecke took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Yanic Kulenovic to make any attempt to save it. Vince Matthijs hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After having played for 24 minutes, David Krause managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Wil 1900's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Krause was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vagner Penisson hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute Koen Van Hecke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yanic Kulenovic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robbe Van Der Taelen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mischa Guibord in the 34th minute of the match. The FC Ouagadougou National fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when FC Ouagadougou National's Koen Van Hecke looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Armand Owerckx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yanic Kulenovic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris-George Elssen in the 43rd minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mischa Guibord made a kick off. After a rather tough play, FC Ouagadougou National's Sander Van de Velde got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute, Vince Matthijs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Krause hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Konstantin Bocchi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robbe Van Der Taelen having to interfere. Armand Owerckx took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Yanic Kulenovic. FC Wil 1900's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of FC Ouagadougou National booed when FC Wil 1900 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Krause didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the game, David Krause recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Robbe Van Der Taelen. David Krause showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. Chris-George Elssen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sander Van de Velde hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. FC Ouagadougou National's Robbe Van Der Taelen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Ouagadougou National from getting a goal against them. FC Wil 1900's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
