After 9 played minutes, Freestylers's Simon Stieber shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Václav Židek came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Freestylers reached it. Miroslav Mastiš's late challenge caught a Freestylers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miroslav Mastiš helped the player get up and apologised. Miroslav Mastiš hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Václav Židek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dennis Mühlenberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Dennis Mühlenberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Václav Židek having to interfere. Florian Violonchi charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. FC Kukova's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Freestylers the free kick. The supporters of Freestylers booed when FC Kukova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ladislav Kopčaj didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivan Moravčík hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Freestylers's Simon Stieber got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Václav Židek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marko Hemling in the 46th minute. The Freestylers players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Kukova were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marko Hemling made a kick off. Ondrej Olejár fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arthur Lickfett having to interfere. 53 minutes into the match, Freestylers's goalkeeper Arthur Lickfett had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ľubomír Baráth. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rouven Zilly couldn't finish the play. Freestylers's Marko Hemling got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
