Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. István Császár started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, István Császár cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Francesco Toldo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ábel Szentesi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svetozar Popchev in the 11th minute of play. Ábel Szentesi was a little too slow when Ganyo Semerdzhiev got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 19th minute, THE CLUB's Ganyo Semerdzhiev ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ábel Szentesi. Ábel Szentesi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. 25 minutes into the match, THE CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when István Császár came free, but Francesco Toldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Svetozar Popchev in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ábel Szentesi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Hungarian Olympic's István Császár suffered a torn muscle in his foot after 30 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vangel Yurukov during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, THE CLUB's Vangel Yurukov got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Hungarian Olympic's Csaba Joó couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for THE CLUB. Hungarian Olympic's Ábel Szentesi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Hungarian Olympic from getting a goal against them. THE CLUB's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vangel Yurukov in the 37th minute. Vangel Yurukov made a great header on THE CLUB's corner, it was just that Hungarian Olympic's Ábel Szentesi managed to reach the ball for a save. If Ganyo Semerdzhiev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. György Edelényi's late challenge caught a THE CLUB's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. György Edelényi helped the player get up and apologised. Vangel Yurukov was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 42nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Danail Mladzhov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The wind increased when Svetozar Popchev made the kick off in the second half. When Teodosi Baydanov fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored THE CLUB's protests and gave Teodosi Baydanov a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Hungarian Olympic booed when THE CLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodosi Baydanov didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, THE CLUB's Francesco Toldo got control of the ball when János Fazekas tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of THE CLUB booed when Hungarian Olympic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. János Dala didn't get a good kick on the ball. If László Nemes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Danail Mladzhov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Ábel Szentesi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. János Fazekas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francesco Toldo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. In the 72nd minute László Nemes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francesco Toldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francesco Toldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from János Dala in the 75th minute of the match. With a little luck, THE CLUB's Francesco Toldo got control of the ball when János Fazekas tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Plamen Oreshkov fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored THE CLUB's protests and gave Plamen Oreshkov a yellow card for diving instead. Ilko Madzhov kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves János Fazekas could shoot a difficult shot in the 84th minute, which Francesco Toldo however easily saved by the left post. Vangel Yurukov kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ganyo Semerdzhiev in the 93rd minute of play forced Hungarian Olympic's goalkeeper Ábel Szentesi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 97th match minute, THE CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Plamen Oreshkov to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the Hungarian Olympic players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for THE CLUB.
