The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Duarte Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toninho de Barros in the 8th minute of the match. Vitinho de Sena scored 1-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Duarte Pinheiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 16th minute Cauã Travassos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte Pinheiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valdo Madureira during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18th minute, Cauã Travassos made a precise shot to the right of Duarte Pinheiro. Tenha Dó Dó Dó's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 21 minutes into the game, Cássio do Valle threw the ball into play from the sideline. Tenha Dó Dó Dó's Emílio Vasconcelos quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 23rd minute, Valdo Madureira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Duarte Pinheiro managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when Futebol dos Parça's Cauã Travassos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cauã Travassos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Duarte Pinheiro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Tenha Dó Dó Dó getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Arí Aguiar hit a great ball. Futebol dos Parça's Cássio do Valle got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Cauã Travassos in the 45th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Duarte Pinheiro kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 3-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roberto Mandrak was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Cauã Travassos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Duarte Pinheiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Duarte Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerônimo Mandrak in the 60th minute of play. Carlos Alberto Negri was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 87 played minutes Tenha Dó Dó Dó got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Mandrak. Tenha Dó Dó Dó's Duarte Pinheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerônimo Mandrak in the 93rd minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Tenha Dó Dó Dó's goal looked a bit too open when Jerônimo Mandrak came free, but Duarte Pinheiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Futebol dos Parça walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
