After having played for 2 minutes, Roberto Mandrak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tenha Dó Dó Dó's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roberto Mandrak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 4 minutes into the game, Roberto Mandrak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Pedro Luiz Cunha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Virgílio Leal made in the 10th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Umberto Bertassi. If Umberto Bertassi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the game, Cláudio Sabóia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. S.C.CHUÍ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tenha Dó Dó Dó the free kick. After 16 played minutes S.C.CHUÍ got a freekick which was hit by Cláudio Sabóia. A collision led to S.C.CHUÍ getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Laerte Barreto hit a great ball. In the 25th minute Geovânio Peixoto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luiz Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Luiz Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Mandrak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Virgílio Leal during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 29th minute, Virgílio Leal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 34 played minutes Tenha Dó Dó Dó got a freekick which was hit by Geovânio Peixoto. In the 36th minute Ezequiel Leão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luiz Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roberto Mandrak took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Luiz Cunha. Pedro Luiz Cunha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Ezequiel Leão hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roberto Mandrak made a kick off. Duarte Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nildo Xavier in the 55th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Roberto Mandrak could shoot a difficult shot in the 56th minute, which Pedro Luiz Cunha however easily saved by the left post. Duarte Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Umberto Bertassi, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Raúl Freire kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. When Haroldo Pernambucano fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tenha Dó Dó Dó's protests and gave Haroldo Pernambucano a yellow card for diving instead. In the 64th match minute, Tenha Dó Dó Dó was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Pernambucano to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ezequiel Teixeira in the 65th minute of play forced Tenha Dó Dó Dó's goalkeeper Duarte Pinheiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luisão Trigo did an outstanding performance 75 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 1-3 to the right of an irritated Duarte Pinheiro in the goal. Ezequiel Leão hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Tenha Dó Dó Dó's zone, Umberto Bertassi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Duarte Pinheiro came out of the goal and Umberto Bertassi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 85th minute, Geovânio Peixoto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Tenha Dó Dó Dó defense, Nildo Xavier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Duarte Pinheiro. The Tenha Dó Dó Dó fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Duarte Pinheiro should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Umberto Bertassi in the 94th minute of play forced Tenha Dó Dó Dó's goalkeeper Duarte Pinheiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Tenha Dó Dó Dó's goal looked a bit too open when Umberto Bertassi came free, but Duarte Pinheiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 97th minute, Umberto Bertassi made a precise shot to the right of Duarte Pinheiro. Tenha Dó Dó Dó's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. S.C.CHUÍ were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Tenha Dó Dó Dó to leave the ground with a draw.
